What assistance does the UK Government provide to businesses?

The UK Government has introduced the following schemes to aid businesses in managing energy expenses. Eligibility criteria are determined by the Government and may be subject to change. Explore further details about these support schemes and the businesses that meet the requirements:

Who is eligible for connection

Any business operating from a single site with a single set of gas and electricity meters.

How do I sign up for Lite?

Once you've communicated your decision to proceed with a Lite energy contract to your broker or energy consultant, they will notify us accordingly. If you're not currently engaged with a broker, you can easily and quickly obtain a quote online. It's advisable to have a recent bill on hand, as we'll inquire about your business's energy consumption or expenditure to provide an accurate quote.

You'll receive an email prompting you to create your online account and review your contract details for accuracy. If you don't have an electricity smart meter installed already, we'll arrange for one to be fitted.

Just before connecting you to Lite (and prior to your electricity smart meter transmitting readings to us), we'll request your initial gas and electricity meter readings.

What is the process behind fixed price energy plans?

Before finalizing enrollment in a Fixed Price Energy Plan, we'll ensure you understand the essential terms and conditions, emphasizing the binding nature of the contract.

Within 10 days of accepting the offer, we'll reach out to provide a link to an order confirmation pack containing all pertinent terms and conditions. It's crucial to thoroughly review this information.

Approximately 60 days before your Fixed Price Energy Plan reaches its expiration, we'll furnish you with a renewal quote.

Should you opt to change suppliers, you have the option to do so once your energy contract concludes.

Failure to renew with us by the contract's last day will automatically transition you to our Variable Price Plan. However, you retain the flexibility to switch back to a Fixed Price Energy Plan at any point.
