At Business Gas Lite, we are committed to ensuring transparency and customer satisfaction in all our energy brokerage services. Our refund and cancellation policy is designed to align with industry standards while providing fair and clear resolutions for our clients.
Cancellation Policy:
Customers can request cancellations in accordance with their energy contract terms. We facilitate smooth transitions and contract modifications where applicable, ensuring compliance with Ofgem regulations. If a customer wishes to cancel before the contract is activated, we work closely with suppliers to process the request efficiently.
Refund Policy:
Since we operate as an energy brokerage service, payments are primarily associated with supplier contracts and service facilitation. Refund eligibility depends on the nature of the transaction. In cases of billing discrepancies or overpayments, we promptly investigate and, where applicable, issue adjustments or credits in line with regulatory requirements.
Dispute Resolution:
If a customer has concerns regarding a cancellation or refund, our dedicated Complaints Team ensures a thorough review and resolution within 5 working days. Should an issue remain unresolved beyond 8 weeks, customers have the right to escalate their case to the Energy Ombudsman for independent review.
